March kept the city's stages busy with Tommy Condon's Irish Pub anchoring the acoustic scene while Uptown Social and Share House dominated the electronic calendar. The month's numbers tell a story of venue loyalty and artist hustle across Charleston. Top Acoustic Artists Kevin Church owned March with 12 gigs, all at Tommy Condon's Irish Pub. That kind of residency speaks to both reliability and draw power. Church has clearly found his room and made it work. Of The Heart took second with 10 shows split between High Cotton Charleston Restaurant and Slightly North of Broad Restaurant, proving their appeal translates across the upscale dining circuit. Christian Carroll claimed third with 8 shows, staying loyal to Tommy Condon's like Church. Kyle Herring rounded out the Tommy Condon's trio with 7 gigs at the King Street staple. Derek Cribb finished fifth with 6 shows across Rita's Seaside Grille and The Dinghy, mixing beach and neighborhood vibes. Top Bands Medium Rare led the pack with 11 gigs split between High Cotton Charleston Restaurant and Halls Chophouse Nexton (Summerville). Their ability to work both the downtown fine dining scene and the Summerville crowd shows versatility that pays off in bookings. Grayson Little tied for second with 9 shows, splitting time between Uptown Social and Share House. JJZ trio also hit 9 gigs, all at Halls Chophouse Nexton, making them the venue's go-to jazz act. Nexton Jazz Quartet matched that commitment with 9 shows at the same Summerville spot. The Midnight City Band closed the top five with 5 gigs across Uptown Social and Share House. Top DJs JMBX crushed March with 20 gigs across Uptown Social and Share House. That's nearly two-thirds of the month, proving their value to the late-night circuit. Hi Ed followed with 16 shows spanning three venues, adding Juanita Greenberg's Nacho Royale to the Uptown Social and Share House rotation. ANTO secured third with 15 gigs, working Uptown Social, Ritual Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge, and Share House. Dj Boogi held down 12 shows between the two main party spots. Milli Marco rounded out the top five with 8 shows, all at Ritual Rooftop, making that King Street rooftop their domain. March's numbers highlight the importance of venue relationships and consistent booking. The artists who topped each category found their spots and worked them hard. Not seeing all your shows?
